Job Description
Assurance Staff performing audits of client financial statements under senior supervision. Assisting in various technical projects and staying updated with industry trends and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing audit of client financial statements under supervision of senior personnel on team
- Assist in completing audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings
- Research and develop knowledge of current audit legislation to ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local regulations
- Collect, assimilate, and analyze client data and use standard processes and tools to complete assigned project work
- Assist in identifying technical issues in various projects and share suggestions with senior personnel to mitigate the same
- Recommend on ways to streamline operations and increase client satisfaction
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to auditing and financial reporting
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant is preferred.
- At least 3 years experience in Audit
- Exhibit high attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal English communications skills
- Strong proficiency in the use of technology and basic PC applications (Excel, Word)
