Job Description
AWS Cloud Migration Specialist responsible for cloud migration projects and implementing AWS solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure adherence to best practices in cloud migration.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of current environments, including discovery, workload analysis and technical recommendations;
- Design AWS architectures and create technical diagrams, migration plans and detailed schedules;
- Define migration strategies considering security, performance, scalability and cost optimization;
- Support and execute migration delivery activities, ensuring adherence to the defined architecture and best practices;
- Use migration and discovery tools such as RV Tools, AWS Migration Evaluator and AWS Application Migration Service;
- Implement monitoring and post-migration performance optimization practices (CloudWatch, Dynatrace or similar);
- Ensure compliance with AWS best practices and corporate standards;
- Engage with stakeholders and present technical reports and migration status.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in AWS Cloud migration projects;
- Advanced knowledge of AWS solution architecture (including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM and other services);
- Experience with on-premises environments, including virtualization, networking and storage;
- Experience with migration and discovery tools (e.g., RV Tools, AWS Migration Evaluator, AWS Application Migration Service);
- Experience with performance monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Dynatrace or similar);
- Ability to create clear, well-structured technical diagrams (Visio, Draw.io, Lucidchart);
- Flexibility to operate in complex environments and handle scope changes;
- Preferred: Fluent English.
