Job Description
Cloud Architect designing and optimizing AWS solutions for a global organization. Requires 8+ years of experience and proficiency in various AWS tools and programming languages.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AWS-native cloud architectures following best practices
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Terragrunt, or OpenTofu
- Develop and optimize cloud automation workflows for provisioning, de-provisioning, and auditing cloud resources
- Create API-driven orchestration and automation solutions using Python or Node.js
- Integrate cloud services with ServiceNow and enterprise platforms
- Design secure and scalable AWS networking solutions, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, and Route53
- Analyze operational data using SQL to identify automation opportunities and reduce manual effort
- Implement observability and monitoring solutions using Datadog
- Ensure compliance, governance, and audit requirements are met, including SOX-related controls
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience as a Cloud Architect
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS Cloud Services and Architecture Design
- Experience with AWS-native services including IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, and multi-account strategies
- Advanced knowledge of Terraform, Terragrunt, or OpenTofu
- Strong AWS networking experience including VPC, Transit Gateway, Route53, and secure connectivity patterns
- Experience with Datadog for observability, monitoring, logs, metrics, and traces
- Proficiency in Python or Node.js for automation, orchestration, and API integrations
- Experience integrating and automating workflows with ServiceNow
- Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, governance, and audit frameworks (SOX preferred)
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and process optimization
