Job Description
Cloud Architect for Concept Plus, supporting IT modernization initiatives across federal agencies. Leading cloud architecture design and DevSecOps implementation for secure and efficient systems.
Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the cloud architecture strategy aligning to client modernization goals and mission priorities
- Design and implement hybrid cloud architectures integrating Cloud One, DISA environments, and on-premise systems
- Architect and optimize DevSecOps pipelines to support automated, secure, and continuous delivery across environments
- Lead the design of data architectures and integration pipelines, enabling ingestion, transformation, and utilization of maintenance and operational data
- Establish and enforce cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks, including RMF, NIST 800-53, and STIG requirements
- Collaborate with development, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure architectural alignment and delivery efficiency
- Evaluate current-state architecture and define target-state modernization roadmaps, including phased migration strategies
- Support performance optimization, cost management, and system resilience across cloud environments
- Provide technical guidance during design reviews, architecture boards, and program-level decision-making
Requirements:
- Secret – Fully Cleared Only, must confirm clearance is active
- Client 8140 intermediate certification or client 8570 IAM Level II certifications or higher
- US Citizens Only
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in cloud architecture, system architecture, or enterprise IT design, preferably within client environments.
- Experience designing and implementing solutions in Cloud One, AWS, Azure Government, or similar environments
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline architecture
- Experience with hybrid cloud and distributed system architectures
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git-based workflows)
- Familiarity with client cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, STIGs, NIST 800-53)
