Job Description
Backend Developer focusing on RESTful APIs for health integration, collaborating with internal teams to ensure operational stability. Responsible for designing and implementing integrations and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance RESTful APIs used for system integrations
- Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance on existing services
- Implement new routes and endpoints according to business requirements
- Ensure the integrity, security, and performance of the APIs
- Support analysis and resolution of integration failures between systems
- Document endpoints, payloads, and business rules
- Collaborate with internal teams (development, infrastructure, and business)
- Ensure stability and operational continuity of integrations
Requirements:
- Experience developing RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, or .NET)
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar)
- Knowledge of consuming and integrating APIs (REST/SOAP)
- Experience with authentication and security (JWT, OAuth, or similar)
- Knowledge of version control with Git
- Experience with healthcare integrations (HL7, FHIR is a plus)
- Familiarity with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar)
- Experience building scalable APIs and applying best practices (caching, rate limiting, logging)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)
- Experience with Sensedia (API Gateway / API management)
