Job Description
Backend Developer for developing native integrations at Clicksign, a leader in electronic signatures. Collaborating across teams to enhance integration features with an emphasis on security and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance native integrations and backend services in Go, focusing on stability, clarity and reliability.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs, integrating Clicksign with external systems.
- Define technical standards (architecture, observability, integration, security) and document them in RFCs and ADRs.
- Implement integrations based on webhooks, events and asynchronous flows.
- Work with API contracts, versioning and consistent error handling.
- Collaborate with Design, Product and QA to ensure integrations solve real customer problems.
- Write readable, testable code aligned with engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions collaboratively.
- Support maintenance and iteration of existing integrations in production.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Production experience with Go.
- Experience with complex system architecture, microservices and high-throughput integrations.
- Proven experience with AWS (managed services, networking, security and automation).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, DynamoDB, Datomic).
- Experience with messaging on AWS (SQS, SNS).
- Proficiency with Git and good versioning practices.
- Experience consuming and building RESTful APIs.
- Experience with authentication, authorization and API security.
- Nice to have: Production experience with Ruby.
- Operation and monitoring of production systems using tools like Datadog.
- Knowledge of service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with queues, events or asynchronous processing.
