Job Description

Care Advocate supporting patients and providers for Seven Starling, a virtual women’s behavioral health provider. Coordinating appointments, records, referrals, and compassionate healthcare support.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and providers, addressing questions, concerns, and needs professionally and empathetically
  • Assist with scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments, managing conflicts and optimizing schedules
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with privacy regulations
  • Assist in resolving patient or provider issues and complaints, escalating complex concerns as appropriate
  • Monitor support data and trends as the “voice of the patient” and surface learnings to relevant team members or supervisors
  • Support patients and providers navigating the healthcare system, including procedures, insurance processes, and resources
  • Coordinate care activities, including follow-up appointments, outside referrals, and coordination with healthcare providers
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Participate in ongoing training and development
  • Propose updates to key processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a patient support, customer service, or healthcare-related role
  • Experience in a remote work environment
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, especially in a high-volume setting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficiency in standard office applications, such as Google Suite
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to patient support
  • High school diploma or equivalent
