Job Description
CEO and co-founder building Outpost’s autonomous infrastructure platform for mixed-robot fleets. Commercializing energy, compute, AI, and secure industrial systems from pre-seed to deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Set Outpost's category, positioning, initial beachhead, and market-entry strategy
- Partner with the CTO to take the platform from concept through MVP, pilots, and repeatable deployments
- Translate complex hardware, energy, compute, and AI capabilities into clear customer value
- Develop industrial, logistics, defense, aerospace, and ecosystem relationships
- Secure design partners, pilots, strategic partnerships, and early revenue
- Create and communicate Outpost's immediate and long-term company narrative
- Lead future financing rounds, including fundraising narrative, milestones, operating plan, and investor process
- Recruit and inspire the founding team and establish company culture
- Own strategy, product and commercial prioritization, partnerships, fundraising, operations, and company-building
- Create systems needed to scale the company
Requirements:
- Track record of building, launching, and scaling innovative hardware-enabled or AI-enabled products deployed in industrial, manufacturing, robotics, autonomy, energy, compute, or defense environments
- Experience owning a business, product line, market, or major initiative from strategy through execution, with measurable commercial outcomes
- Founder, GM, business unit leader, or early-stage operating experience is highly relevant
- Ability to operate in zero-to-one company building: validating the market, narrowing the wedge, shaping product, winning first customers, raising capital, and recruiting a foundational team
- Deep network among buyers and partners in industrial manufacturing, assembly, warehouse automation, logistics, energy, or adjacent sectors
- Strong understanding of energy, power systems, edge compute, AI, robotics, and autonomy in real-world deployments
- Ability to make a complex technical platform intuitive, urgent, and investable
- Experience in forward-looking industrial and defense technology businesses deploying robotics and ambitious platforms into complex physical operations
