Job Description
CEO leading strategy, culture and performance for a growing UK direct-to-consumer ecommerce business. Driving sustainable growth, operational execution and organisational capability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the company's strategy, vision and long-term growth plan
- Lead overall business performance, commercial growth and operational execution
- Build strong relationships with partners, investors and other key stakeholders
- Set clear objectives, performance measures and accountability across the organisation
- Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing senior leadership team
- Strengthen organisational structure, processes and governance as the business scales
- Manage budgets, forecasting, financial performance and resource allocation
- Use customer and commercial data to guide decisions on growth, retention and lifetime value
- Identify new markets, partnerships, products and commercial opportunities
- Ensure strong focus on customer experience, quality and innovation
- Work with the Board on business planning, risk management and strategic decision-making
Requirements:
- Experience successfully leading a growing ecommerce business, division or complex organisation
- Direct experience in a DTC subscription business
- Solid grasp of retention, cohort behaviour and repeat-purchase economics
- Track record of developing and executing business strategy
- Experience managing P&L performance
- Experience leading teams through growth, transformation or change
- Strong financial understanding
- Ability to use data to inform decisions
- Credibility to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- Leadership maturity, commercial capability and energy
- May be an experienced executive taking on a first CEO appointment, Managing Director or senior business leader looking to step up
