Job Description
Part-Time Chaplain providing spiritual care and support to employees and their families. Engaging in visits and interactions at various worksites to uphold faith and encourage community spirit.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a messenger and conveyor of faith, mission, and purpose
- Interacts with companies, their employees, and the community
- Makes regular visits to company worksites to interact with employees
- Provides referral service and acts as coordinator for specialized assistance
- May assist in planning conduct or attending funerals
- Works with companies to serve notifications of death
- May provide post-termination care for laid-off or terminated employees
- Participates in new employee orientation to explain the Employee Care Service
- Responds positively and assertively to other duties requested by leadership
Requirements:
- Ability to work as member of interdisciplinary group and in an interfaith setting
- Skills to effectively listen and interact with clients, employees, and their families
- Spiritual maturity and commitment to a Christian lifestyle
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated skill in analyzing information to define and follow up on problems or objectives
- Demonstrated computer proficiency using Google Suites, Microsoft Office, or other equivalent software.
- Active state driver’s license and state minimum auto insurance required
