Job Description
Remote Clinical Counselor providing solution-focused counseling services with Zeiders Enterprises. Requires clinical expertise in individual and group counseling in Japan time zones.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and short-term, solution-focused non-medical counseling services
- Conduct individual, couples, and group counseling
- Ensure referral for appropriate behavioral health follow-up
- Conduct intake, screening, assessment, and referral of clients
- Work with the client to establish an individual treatment plan
- Provide immediate intervention and risk assessment
- Report suspected child abuse and domestic abuse/violence to local authorities
Requirements:
- Minimum educational qualifications include a master’s degree in counseling accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs
- Current, valid and unrestricted clinical license or certification from a state or U.S. territory authorizing independent clinical practice
- A minimum of two years’ full-time, post-master’s supervised clinical experience
- Experience providing counseling for groups, couples, and/or families
- Ability to manage a large clinical caseload while meeting stringent documentation requirements
- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
