Job Description
Project Manager coordinating the preparation and opening of hospitals while managing enterprise-wide projects for Emerus. Leading cross-functional teamwork and ensuring departmental readiness.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate assigned projects from initiation through completion, delivering both on-time and within budget
- Be the point of contact and coordinate all departments necessary for the projects
- Manage resources with peers and functional managers
- Identify and manage project risks and issues
- Report on project budgets
- Provide frequent project status to management and project teams
- Create long- and short-term plans, setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
- Develop and manage Activation and Operations Readiness plans for new hospital openings
Requirements:
- 4+ years required, 6+ years preferred experience as a project manager in healthcare
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
- PMP required
- Clinical licensure or relevant clinical credential required (e.g. RN, LVN, ARRT, RRT/CRT, CPhT, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead teams on complex project completion
- Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self driven, capable of making informed decisions with minimal guidance
- Communicates well both verbally and in written form
- Proficient in MS Office, including MS Project
- Working knowledge of Smartsheet a plus
