Job Description

Clinical Research Manager managing ophthalmology projects across various countries. Ensuring compliance with clinical trial regulations and establishing strong relationships with investigators and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the end-to-end performance and project management for assigned protocols in compliance with ICH/GCP and country regulations
  • Main Point of Contact (POC) for assigned protocols and link between Country Operations and clinical trial team (CTT)
  • Responsible for project management of the assigned studies, driving and tracking execution and performance to meet commitments
  • Reviews Monitoring Visits Reports and escalates performance issues
  • Leads local study teams and trains in the protocol
  • Creates and executes a local risk management plan for assigned studies

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in clinical research
  • Strong Ophthalmology experience required, with retinal disease experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in science (or comparable)
  • Advanced degree, (e.g., Master degree, MD, PhD) preferred
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial planning, management and metrics
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and local language
  • Competent and effective in written and verbal communication
  • Strong leadership skills that enable alignment with goals
