Job Description

Cybersecurity and Compliance Analyst ensuring secure and compliant information systems for Esri Canada's Technology Infrastructure. Monitor networks, conduct audits, and implement cybersecurity best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity.
  • Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Advise on compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and others as applicable.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff regarding security awareness and compliance requirements.
  • Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection).
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks and standards like ISO 27001 and SOC 2
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or Security+ are preferred.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills to lead a team and drive security initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to address complex security and network issues.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
