Job Description
Data Analyst partnering with business teams at RevenueCat, a mobile subscription monetization platform. Building trusted datasets, dashboards, and AI-powered analytics infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Partner regularly with Marketing, Sales, Finance and Product teams to learn their goals, metrics, and decisions
- Own analysis end to end: clarify the question, build or select the right dataset, deliver the answer, and ensure a decision follows
- Develop deep subscription-domain knowledge and document metric definitions, caveats, filters, and known issues
- Build trusted analytics assets, including dbt models, LookML explores, and dashboards
- Use and improve AI agent tooling by supplying semantic context, identifying incorrect answers, and hardening definitions
- Contribute small model and pipeline improvements, debug discrepancies, and help resolve data platform issues
- Translate business context into robust analysis and data reality into actionable language for non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in an analytics role such as Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Business Analyst, Analytics Engineer or similar
- Direct experience partnering with a business team such as Marketing, Sales or Finance
- Strong SQL and comfort working directly in a data warehouse
- Ability to independently reach answers without hand-holding
- Experience owning datasets and dashboards relied upon by non-technical teams
- Experience working in Git-based repositories with branches, pull requests, and code review
- Experience with version-controlled dbt and LookML repositories or similar analytics code workflows
- Daily experience with AI agents and appropriate skepticism of their outputs
- Ability to explain how an answer was verified
- Clear written communication about limits, caveats, and what a number does not say
Benefits:
- Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator
- 10-year window to exercise vested equity options
- Fully remote and flexible work environment
- 4-5 weeks of suggested time off annually for mental, physical, and emotional recharge
- $2,000 USD for workspace setup
- $1,000 USD annual stipend for continuous learning
