Job Description
Data Architect responsible for evolving and scaling data infrastructure at Marketing Architects. Design and implement data pipelines to support analytics and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable, production-grade data pipelines and architectures
- Apply data modeling standards to support high-quality, maintainable systems
- Monitor pipeline performance, latency and cost-efficiency; proactively optimize
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies, including access, privacy and retention
- Collaborate across analytics, product and engineering teams to define and meet data needs
- Document architectural decisions, technical tradeoffs and solution designs
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and at least one cloud-based data platform (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Azure)
- Strong foundation in data modeling, warehousing and ETL/ELT best practices
- Experience leveraging AI tools for efficient execution
- Working knowledge of data governance, access controls and compliance frameworks
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
