Job Description
Senior Data Engineer responsible for cloud-based data solutions at Avvale. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive strategic data-based decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize data engineering architectures and processes, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Develop and implement data engineering solutions in Azure (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Data Lake, SQL Database).
- Build and maintain high-performance, reliable data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
- Work on data modeling, system integration, and information governance.
- Ensure best practices for performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and international stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings and presentations in advanced English.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in data engineering and data solutions.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and its core components.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and pipeline development.
- Knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling.
- Advanced English for technical reading and collaboration with global stakeholders.
- Experience in multinational environments and large-scale projects.
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Knowledge of data governance and process automation.
- Consultative mindset with strategic vision and results orientation.
