Job Description
Senior Data Architect at Empower shaping cloud and data architecture while driving modernization initiatives with emerging technologies. Mentor teams and influence architectural decisions for performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Shape company’s cloud and data architecture
- Partner with architects and business leaders to define architectures
- Drive modernization initiatives and strategies
- Explore emerging technologies
- Mentor teams and influence architectural decisions
- Establish architectural standards and best practices
- Collaborate with teams to design solutions
- Provide leadership in process design and system orchestration
- Champion security and scalability principles
Requirements:
- 8 years in data specialty (engineering, platforms, analytics)
- 2+ years leading solution design and architecture
- Experience in multiple data focused roles (Data Engineer, Data Architect, etc.)
- Competency in architecture frameworks and performance optimization
- Strong problem solving and strategic thinking
- Expertise in designing data and cloud architecture (AWS preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
