Job Description
Seeking a Senior Data Engineer for strategic initiative at Leega with focus on GCP. Joining a dynamic team to automate data validation and enhance performance indicators.
Responsibilities:
- Develop automated pipelines to ingest 100% of the data from the Risk tool into GCP.
- Design and provide governed views in the Analytics layer (BigQuery), ensuring data integrity and quality for downstream consumption.
- Implement metrics based on complex SQL logic and business rules.
- Develop semantic indicators using LLMs via GCP (Vertex AI) for categorization and analysis of unstructured data.
- Work directly with the software engineering team to ensure the solution aligns with the company's architecture and security standards.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with GCP: proficiency in tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and Dataplex (for governance).
- Data engineering: advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for handling large volumes of data.
- Generative AI: hands-on experience implementing LLM solutions on Google Cloud (e.g., Vertex AI, Model Garden, or API integrations).
- Experience in corporate environments: ability to translate business requirements from Risk/Controls areas into scalable technical solutions.
- Official Google Cloud certifications (Professional Data Engineer or equivalent).
- Previous experience with audit/risk tools such as TeamMate.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices applied to data (DataOps).
