Job Description
Data Engineer building pipelines and integrations for the Department of Veterans Affairs OCDAO enterprise data catalog. Applying data quality and security controls remotely across the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Build, test and maintain data pipelines and integration processes
- Prepare data for analytics and catalog onboarding
- Apply data quality and security controls
- Build the data pipelines and integration that feed OCDAO's enterprise data catalog and analytics
Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship required
- Able to obtain and keep a VA Tier 1 / Low Risk background investigation
- Complete VA privacy and security training
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of data engineering
- Enterprise data catalog onboarding (for example Collibra) preferred
- Experience with federal or VA data platforms preferred
