Job Description
Data Manager (FME) developing automated data flows and supporting data analysis for a major European Institution. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure data quality and performance monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated data flows to integrate data and processes into the contracting authority’s systems and databases (historical data migration and new ETL flows);
- Performance monitoring and improvement of existing and new ETL flows;
- Ensure data quality is properly defined, documented, analysed and monitored;
- Support data analysis, modelling and visualisation in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, such as disease surveillance experts and fellow data managers.
Requirements:
- University degree within the field of computer science, data science, or another related field; with at least three years of experience in data management/analysis OR non-university degree with at least five years of experience in data management/analysis;
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in handling large complex data sets, working with data warehouses and data marts using FME;
- A certification/training in FME and TransactSQL is required;
- Experience in data management/analysis in infectious diseases, epidemiology or public health will be considered an asset;
- Experience in TransactSQL and Python/or R will be considered an asset;
- Excellent command of the English language.
