Job Description
Database Developer supporting development and maintenance of database solutions for education technology ecosystem. Collaborating with teams to ensure data accuracy and performance in enterprise environments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain database solutions to support enterprise applications and reporting needs
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and database objects
- Build and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and functions to support automation and workflows
- Support database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, ensuring high availability and data integrity
- Collaborate with technical teams to support integrations and data movement across systems
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices for database change management
- Document database designs, objects, and implementation standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in database development
- Strong SQL development skills and experience building database objects for enterprise use
- Experience supporting production environments with a focus on reliability and performance
