Job Description
DevOps & Cloud Engineer collaborating with clients on software projects while ensuring cloud infrastructure reliability. Engaging in agile team workflows with a focus on performance and security optimization.
Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a motivated and passionate DevOps & Cloud Engineer.
- You will support our clients in developing and maintaining operational infrastructure (GitOps, Kubernetes, Linux, Apache, Java applications) and in operating applications on a cloud platform.
- As a generalist in a cross-functional team, you will develop features across the infrastructure, application, and cloud environments.
- You will be actively involved in the entire development process and optimize the CI/CD pipeline based on GitLab CI, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
- You will conduct code reviews and pair programming to improve quality and share knowledge.
- You design and implement cloud strategies and architectures to ensure the scalability and reliability of our applications.
- You monitor and optimize the performance and security of our clients' cloud environments.
Requirements:
- Completed degree or equivalent training in computer science
- Experience designing and implementing DevOps processes, ideally within agile software development projects
- Practical experience with Linux, containers (OCI / Docker), CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins), Git, Ansible, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Ideally, knowledge in administering Java web applications and cloud services
- Enthusiasm for agile working methods and motivation to continuously engage with new technologies and trends, especially in the cloud area
- Very good German language skills (at least C1).
