Job Description
DevOps Manager leading engineering operations for a global translation company. Overseeing cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and enhancing operational reliability while working remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage DevOps practices across development, staging, and production environments
- Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for modern web applications
- Manage cloud infrastructure using modern, scalable architectures
- Ensure system reliability, uptime, performance, and security
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to proactively detect issues
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams working with React.js, Node.js, and related technologies
- Support infrastructure needs for internal tools, client-facing platforms, and integrations
- Enforce best practices for version control, deployment, access control, and compliance
- Use AI-powered tools to improve efficiency in coding, automation, troubleshooting, and infrastructure management
- Lead incident response and post-mortem processes when needed
- Continuously improve workflows, documentation, and operational standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Manager, DevOps Lead, or Senior DevOps Engineer
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript-based stacks, including React.js and Node.js
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, containerization, and infrastructure automation
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding and DevOps workflows
- Solid understanding of system security, performance optimization, and scalability
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience working with remote, globally distributed teams
