Job Description

SRE Engineer at Grupo Casas Bahia enhancing Cloud infrastructure and automation practices for financial inclusion. Collaborating on projects and ensuring system reliability in Cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and evolve Cloud infrastructure practices, principles, services, standards, community and policies;
  • Actively participate in project deployments involving Cloud environments;
  • Automate tasks that are currently performed manually (Infrastructure as Code - IaC);
  • Define and support cluster frameworks for microservices, proper instance sizing, and scalability and upgrade processes;
  • Serve as a facilitator for resource configurations.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Cloud providers (AWS);
  • Experience with administration and virtualization of operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows);
  • Experience with automation-focused practices and tools for day-to-day tasks as well as infrastructure and configuration management (e.g., Python/Shell/PowerShell scripts, SQL scripts, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Rundeck);
  • Experience with observability using Zabbix or Grafana;
  • Experience with Dynatrace/Datadog, EKS, Lambda;
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell);
  • Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps culture;
  • Knowledge of SRE practices;
  • It would be a plus (desirable):
  • Experience in the banking and/or financial services sectors;
  • Experience with mission-critical systems;
  • Experience with high-volume, high-performance infrastructures.
