Job Description
DevOps Engineer responsible for system reliability and maintenance for easybill's cloud-based solutions. Engage in automation, monitoring, and software development with flexible work arrangements.
Responsibilities:
- Shared responsibility for system availability: You actively contribute to the availability, reliability and efficiency of our complex system architecture.
- Maintenance and automation: You support the maintenance and automation of our existing infrastructure.
- Monitoring and analysis: You improve our monitoring strategies and carry out comprehensive incident and root-cause analyses.
- High-availability support: You are prepared to be on call outside normal hours in exceptional cases.
- Software development: Several years of experience in one or more programming languages is required.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Rust, Java, Go, TypeScript) is required.
- Good understanding of system automation and IT security.
- Practical experience with some of the following systems: MySQL, TiDB, Kubernetes, MinIO and Elasticsearch.
- Business-fluent German and good English skills.
- Strong analytical skills combined with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience contributing to open-source technologies is a plus.
