Job Description
Release Manager coordinating all product and platform releases for GPU-powered Cloud Infrastructure at NexGen Cloud. Collaborating with multiple teams to ensure successful and stable deployments.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-end ownership of the release management process for all NexGen Cloud products.
- Coordinate and lead release planning meetings with Engineering, Product, QA, and Marketing teams.
- Create and maintain release schedules, ensuring visibility across all stakeholders.
- Ensure release notes, changelogs, documentation, and announcements are completed in time.
- Track and verify test coverage, quality gates, and that all checkboxes are met for a successful release.
- Own and manage the release checklist, including deployment prep, tagging, maintenance windows, and rollback plans.
- Collaborate with DevOps to plan and support production deployments, hotfixes, and release patching.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in release management, DevOps coordination, or technical program/project management.
- Strong understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle), CI/CD, and release workflows.
- Comfortable working with Git, release branches, tagging, and basic deployment workflows.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
- Experience coordinating between technical and non-technical stakeholders (e.g., marketing, product, QA).
