Job Description

Director of Product Marketing shaping positioning, launches, and revenue enablement for Interplay’s immersive skilled-workforce training platform. Leading product marketing strategy and team growth across SaaS, AI, VR, and simulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape how Interplay brings its products, solutions, and expertise to market as the company scales and expands into new industries
  • Define portfolio positioning, market intelligence, product launches, go-to-market strategy, customer advocacy, PR, and revenue enablement
  • Define product marketing strategy across Interplay's portfolio and priority industries
  • Own messaging architecture, value propositions, industry positioning, buyer narratives, and competitive differentiation
  • Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into recommendations influencing product and business strategy
  • Lead cross-functional GTM strategy for new products, capabilities, programs, and strategic initiatives from planning through launch and optimization
  • Establish launch strategy, audiences, positioning, readiness requirements, owners, timing, and success measures
  • Build repeatable GTM processes across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Growth
  • Equip Sales and Customer Success with messaging, personas, competitive insights, content, training, and tools
  • Partner with Growth and Demand Gen on campaigns that build awareness, pipeline, and adoption
  • Use performance data and customer insights to improve messaging, enablement, and market impact
  • Lead PR strategy and agency relationships, including media relations, thought leadership, and launch communications
  • Build customer advocacy programs including case studies, testimonials, customer stories, video, and the Interplay Excellence Awards
  • Develop opportunities across industry events, speaking engagements, awards, webinars, and other channels
  • Lead, coach, and develop the product marketing team and contractors
  • Establish team priorities, operating rhythms, standards, and success measures
  • Build a high-performing, collaborative team that scales with the business
  • Report to the VP of Marketing and partner with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Growth, and executive leadership

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive B2B product marketing experience
  • 4+ years leading and developing teams
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, technology, EdTech, workforce development, industrial technology, or a related environment
  • Proven success developing product positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy across multiple products, markets, or vertical industries
  • Experience translating complex technology or technical products into compelling buyer value, differentiated messaging, and effective sales enablement
  • Track record leading complex, cross-functional product launches from strategy through execution and measurement
  • Strong market intelligence, competitive research, customer insight, and win/loss experience
  • Ability to turn findings into business recommendations
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication skills
  • Experience marketing to skilled trades, industrial, manufacturing, facilities, education, or workforce development organizations is nice to have
  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Allego, or market intelligence platforms is nice to have
  • Experience marketing products incorporating AI, VR, simulations, hardware, or other emerging technologies is nice to have
  • Must be a resident of the United States
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship required
  • Must complete a background check and drug and alcohol test after receiving an offer
  • Must complete the I-9 Form and E-verify process upon employment
