Job Description
Software Engineer building systems for Falcon security operations at CrowdStrike. Collaborate with research and development teams to enhance cybersecurity solutions with scalable cloud technology.
Responsibilities:
- Build the systems required for Falcon researchers, threat researchers, and other teams within the Research & Development and Data Science organizations.
- Build highly scalable solutions based on cloud technology, often by adding new microservices.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions and help team members to succeed
- Gain technical expertise and improve systems
Requirements:
- 7+ years of software development experience in a cloud developer role, or similar.
- BS in Computer Science, or a similar field.
- Experience in one or more high-level programming languages (Python, Go, Rust, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience with automating workflows through JSON API use and design.
- Experience with pub-sub and message queues, S3,SQS,Redis etc
- Experience in working with relational and non-relational/NoSQL databases technologies like MySQL, Cassandra, ElasticSearch etc.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and code generation practices to enhance productivity (bonus points).
- Experience in user interface design and UI technologies (AngularJS, ReactJS) will be an advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of security domain, good problem solving and system design skills.
