Job Description

Facilities Condition Assessor assessing federal facility systems and real property data for GoldenWolf, an architecture and engineering firm. Producing condition reports and maintenance strategies through field evaluations and proprietary software.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive on-site visual assessments of Real Property Installed Equipment and facility systems and components
  • Evaluate operating efficiency, capacity, and remaining life expectancy
  • Use proprietary software tools on computers, iPads, or tablets to input, validate, and maintain facility condition assessment data
  • Ensure data accuracy through systematic updates and validations
  • Generate inventory condition reports and technical updates for newly added facilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to meet project goals and deadlines
  • Adhere to industry and company standards
  • Travel within the Northeast United States region from Fayetteville, North Carolina to Portsmouth, Maine

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced Excel skills, including creating formulas and using pivot tables
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience in the construction or maintenance sectors is required
  • Must be eligible for a DoD Position of Trust (Tier 1 level investigation)
  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum of one year of technical experience conducting assessments and analyses of systems and components associated with facilities and structures within real property assets (preferred)
  • Experience with carpentry, plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical systems, or similar areas
  • Certifications in construction technologies such as NCCER, NICET, HVAC, Carpentry, OSHA 10-Hour, or BPI are preferred
  • Must be eligible to work on a contract requiring U.S. citizenship
