Job Description
Field Service Engineer installing and maintaining biotech diagnostic equipment for a life sciences client. Troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues while traveling extensively across the U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Install and perform preventive maintenance on diagnostic equipment
- Support hardware and IT/connectivity activities
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hardware, and system issues
- Complete equipment service and installation documentation
- Travel extensively to customer locations across the Southeast and occasionally other U.S. locations
- Work directly with customers and technical teams
- Participate in training at Indianapolis facility
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree
- 0–5 years of relevant experience; recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Hands-on mechanical, electronics, hardware, IT, or equipment experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to travel 90% across the East Coast
- Travel to customer locations across the Southeast and occasionally other U.S. locations
