Job Description

Finance Associate managing day-to-day finance operations for a US-based healthcare practice. Requires proficiency in QuickBooks and ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the books in QuickBooks — keep records accurate and up to date
  • Manage and operate Relit
  • Ensure all bills and payments are tracked and on schedule
  • Keep the client on track with overall financial visibility
  • Categorize transactions and reconcile accounts in QuickBooks
  • Generate periodic financial summaries and flag items needing the client’s attention
  • Maintain organized digital records of invoices, receipts, and supporting documents
  • Coordinate with the client’s CPA or external accountant as needed
  • Surface trends, discrepancies, or process improvements

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Online preferred)
  • Experience operating an ERP system; ability to onboard onto Relit quickly
  • Solid grasp of US accounting basics (chart of accounts, AP/AR, reconciliations)
  • Strong written English for ongoing US-based client communication
  • Able to work independently and own outcomes without heavy oversight
  • Available to work US hours full-time
  • Prior experience supporting US-based small businesses (preferred)
  • Background in healthcare practice finance (familiarity with insurance reimbursements, patient billing flows) (preferred)
  • Comfort handling sensitive financial information in a HIPAA-aware environment (preferred)
