Job Description
Claims adjuster investigating, evaluating, and adjusting insurance claims remotely for George Hills. Must possess extensive knowledge about public entity liability claims.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate, evaluate, and adjust assigned claims
- Compile information through interviews
- Examine evidence to determine if it will support claims
- Maintain records on the CMIS
- Collect evidence to support contested claims in court
Requirements:
- Four-year college degree (preferred)
- At least five (5) years’ experience with insurance claims
- Comprehensive knowledge relating to the handling of public entity liability claims
- At least two (2) years of using Microsoft Windows including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- At least two (2) years of using claims management software and/or ability to quickly learn new software systems
