Job Description

Claims adjuster investigating, evaluating, and adjusting insurance claims remotely for George Hills. Must possess extensive knowledge about public entity liability claims.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate, evaluate, and adjust assigned claims
  • Compile information through interviews
  • Examine evidence to determine if it will support claims
  • Maintain records on the CMIS
  • Collect evidence to support contested claims in court

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree (preferred)
  • At least five (5) years’ experience with insurance claims
  • Comprehensive knowledge relating to the handling of public entity liability claims
  • At least two (2) years of using Microsoft Windows including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • At least two (2) years of using claims management software and/or ability to quickly learn new software systems
