Job Description
Head of Frontend Development owning B2C casino frontend architecture and building a SvelteKit B2B platform. Leading 20–25 remote engineers across Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Own architectural accountability for the existing frontend ecosystem across multiple B2C casino brands
- Lead greenfield frontend development of a scalable, high-performance B2B casino platform using SvelteKit
- Maintain cutting-edge, secure, and fast B2C brands while building the B2B platform
- Drive architectural decisions, establish best practices, and conduct rigorous code reviews
- Mentor, manage, and inspire a distributed remote team of 20–25 frontend engineers, including Team Leads and Senior Developers
- Foster accountability, high performance, continuous learning, and psychological safety
- Champion AI integration
- Partner with Product, Design, Backend, and DevOps teams to turn business requirements into real-time user experiences
- Report to the CTO
Requirements:
- Exceptional proficiency in JavaScript, React, and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- SvelteKit is a huge plus
- Experience managing remote frontend teams of 20–25 engineers, ideally through leads
- Ability to optimize React applications for low-latency, real-time data updates, and high traffic volume
- Strong understanding of frontend application deployment and scaling within AWS, including CloudFront, S3, and CI/CD pipelines
- Prior iGaming/Casino industry experience is a plus
- Ability to keep a large, distributed team aligned, motivated, and communicating effectively across time zones
