Job Description
Health Information Management Instructor delivering remote courses for triOS and Eastern College students. Teaching competencies, tracking attendance, and grading assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assigned Health Information Management courses using varied instructional strategies, techniques, and delivery methods
- Adapt instruction to individual student learning styles
- Maintain a safe and civil learning environment
- Teach assigned courses according to course competencies
- Take daily attendance
- Grade class tests, assignments, and exams
Requirements:
- Certified as a Health Information Management Professional with the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in Health Information Management
- Hands-on experience with health information management coding and classification systems
- Criminal background check required for the selected candidate
