Job Description
Part-time online AP Chemistry instructor teaching small groups for ASAA, an American K-12 online school. Grading performance and guiding students through curriculum completion.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver group online instruction to 2–6 students
- Utilize pre-existing teaching materials to ensure thorough comprehension
- Assess and grade students' in-class performance
- Provide constructive feedback to facilitate academic progress
- Ensure timely completion of the curriculum within designated timelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area
- Master’s or Ph.D./EdD is preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in the relevant subject area
- High school teaching experience considered advantageous
- Able to offer 2-3 available time slots during weekdays
- Cooperative demeanor with staff
- Passion for teaching
- Flexible schedule for evenings and weekends
- Availability during Pacific Time: 6:00 pm–8:30 pm on 2 or 3 weekdays
- Tools such as a tablet or stylus to assist with explaining problem-solving to students
