Job Description
Health Scientist providing scientific and technical support for health-related research programs. Analyzing data, collaborating with teams, and preparing documentation for federal compliance responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific and technical support for health-related research, programs, and initiatives
- Analyze and interpret scientific data
- Support research and program activities
- Prepare technical documentation
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to meet program objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry or related field is required
- Minimum of five (5) years of laboratory, field sampling/monitoring, data review or other relevant experience
- The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Public Trust level
- Experience conducting a systematic assessment of a program or project’s inputs, activities, and outputs
- Experience developing an evaluation plan, identifying evaluation questions and indicators
- Familiarity with implementation research concepts and methods, including process evaluation
