Job Description
Mobile hospice veterinarian providing in-home euthanasia and end-of-life care for pets. Serving families across Baltimore, Annapolis, Glen Burnie, and surrounding Maryland areas.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care in pets' homes
- Practice independently on the road across Baltimore, Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Maryland, and surrounding areas
- Conduct a few appointments per day at a deliberate pace
- Listen to families, explain end-of-life options, and help them say goodbye with dignity and peace
- Participate in thoughtful onboarding and one-on-one mentorship
- Serve families and pets with compassion, dignity, respect, and empathy
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
- Choose the 4 weekend days per month that fit your life
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Unassisted and up to 90 lbs with Assistance
- License verification, a background check, and a driving record review before the start date
