Job Description
HV Field Service Engineer maintaining Statkraft’s renewable-energy switchgear and plant up to 400kV. Supporting fault response, projects, maintenance, and onsite engineering across the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Work on maintenance aspects of electricity switchgear and plant up to and including 400kV
- Investigate system alarms and provide fault response
- Support delivery of projects
- Follow up on execution of planned and corrective maintenance tasks
- Supervise engineering work onsite
- Assess technical requirements for ongoing projects
- Travel extensively to multiple operational sites across the UK and sometimes abroad
- Work remotely from home or from Statkraft UK office locations when site attendance is not required
Requirements:
- HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant experience from within the energy sector
- Demonstrable experience of working on the electrical network, ideally dealing with LV and HV plant maintenance
- Previous SAP Authorisation would be advantageous
- A good understanding of O&M works processes
- High standard of HSE awareness
- Knowledge of power generation HV networks
- Knowledge of electrical testing/analysis
- Knowledge of commissioning
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Right permit to work in the UK
- Clean driving licence
- Must be eligible for security clearance and authorisation
