Job Description

Implementation Manager leading onboarding and integration of new practices for revenue cycle in dermatology and plastic surgery. Ensuring operational readiness and success from the start.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of new practices, including system setup, workflow design, and go-live support
  • Serve as the RCM subject matter expert, ensuring all billing processes are accurate and optimized
  • Oversee all areas of the revenue cycle: charge capture, coding (CPT/ICD-10), claims submission, denials management, A/R follow-up, and patient billing
  • Partner with internal teams (Billing, Coding, BI, Training, and Operations) to ensure successful onboarding
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to payer setup, credentialing, authorizations, and billing workflows
  • Ensure proper configuration and use of billing systems (e.g., ProCollect, EMRs, clearinghouses)
  • Develop and document standardized implementation processes and best practices
  • Provide post-go-live support and performance monitoring to ensure stability and success
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during onboarding

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management
  • Strong knowledge of dermatology and/or plastic surgery billing (highly preferred)
  • Proven experience managing implementations, onboarding, or process transitions
  • Deep understanding of payer rules and reimbursement methodologies
  • Denials and appeals processes
  • Insurance verification and authorization workflows
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple implementations simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
