Job Description
Instrumentation & Controls Engineering Manager overseeing design and commissioning of critical control systems at Ares Technology Consultants, LLC. Focusing on mission-critical data center operations with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee design and implementation of controls systems (EPMS, BAS, SCADA)
- Lead system integration across electrical and mechanical systems
- Manage commissioning, testing, and system validation
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues in critical environments
- Coordinate with project teams, vendors, and contractors
- Establish controls standards and best practices
- Support system turnover and operational readiness
- Mentor technical staff as the team grows
Requirements:
- 10–15+ years in controls engineering or building automation
- Experience with mission-critical or data center systems preferred
- Strong commissioning and troubleshooting background
- Familiarity with major control platforms and system integration
