Job Description
Senior Backend Engineer developing AI tooling for remote LATAM teams, designing and embedding AI into developer workflows and internal libraries.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build tools that integrate AI coding assistants into existing engineering environments
- Enable teams in adopting AI-driven workflows to enhance productivity and code quality
- Develop and manage large-scale system migrations by leveraging AI
- Maintain and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments
- Improve and support build systems compatible with AI-driven automation
- Interpret complex technical requirements and execute them independently
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python
- Deep knowledge of AI integration; experience embedding AI into libraries and software architecture
- Hands-on experience with tools like Claude Code, Windsurf, Amp, and Cursor
- Mastery of GitLab CI/CD and Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Solid experience with software testing methodologies and supporting large-scale system migrations
- Proven experience working in Agile teams and remote-first environments
- High proficiency in English for daily communication and documentation.
