Job Description
Senior Java Developer at Quod specializing in data integration and architecture for CRM solutions. Responsible for building robust data pipelines and ensuring data integrity for financial services.
Responsibilities:
- Map source systems (creditors, internal services, models, journey events)
- Define ingestion architecture (API, batch, streaming, or hybrid)
- Build robust ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Ensure data versioning and traceability
- Build the structured delivery layer for Salesforce
- Create incremental update mechanisms
- Ensure referential integrity
- Implement retry mechanisms and failure handling
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 9 years of software development experience, preferably with prior experience in the Financial sector.
- Required knowledge:
- Microservices architecture
- Java 11 (or later) and REST API development
- Spring Framework (Boot, JDBC Template, Scheduler, Security, OAuth)
- Maven
- Swagger / OpenAPI
- GIT
- Docker
- Unit testing
- Proficiency with CI/CD concepts
- Experience building data pipelines
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture
- Experience with relational databases and data modeling
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub, SQS, or similar)
- Plus:
- Experience integrating with Salesforce (Marketing Cloud or Core)
- Experience with CRM or collections/billing data
- Experience in high-volume environments
