Job Description

Lead Applied AI Analyst at Cigna transforming financial workflows with AI-driven solutions. Collaborate with global Finance teams to deliver measurable business outcomes and enhance decision support capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of AI capabilities, including NLP, GenAI, predictive modeling, and agent-based automation.
  • Build AI-driven workflows that simplify multi-step business processes and reduce manual effort.
  • Translate business problems into clear technical approaches, including data needs, and workflow design.
  • Validate assumptions, iterate quickly, and refine solutions based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Work closely with global Finance teams, analysts, and engineering partners to ensure solutions align with program objectives.
  • Communicate complex AI concepts in clear business terms for senior leaders and operational teams.
  • Support change management and user adoption by helping stakeholders understand how AI solutions improve their workflows.
  • Ensure all AI solutions align with enterprise standards for responsible AI.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in applied AI, ML engineering, or advanced analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience building GenAI, LLM, RAG, NLP, or agent-based AI solutions.
  • Strong background in Finance-related datasets and workflows.
  • Strong Python skills and experience developing end-to-end AI/ML pipelines.
  • Expertise with LLMs, GenAI frameworks, NLP techniques, and agentic AI.
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, cloud platforms).
