Job Description
AI Lead Developer building RAG, LLM, and enterprise AI solutions for Valtech’s digital experience innovation clients. Developing React and Python services, data platforms, KPIs, and scalable AI pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop frontend applications using ReactJS and Next.js
- Build backend AI services and APIs using Python and FastAPI, with NodeJS or NestJS as applicable
- Design and implement AI and LLM-based systems, including RAG, agent-based systems, LLM-driven integrations, and scalable AI pipelines
- Work with embeddings, intelligent analysis, private or offline AI setups, and local LLM deployments
- Use vector databases such as OpenSearch or Chroma for similarity search and RAG-based solutions
- Evaluate models, tune response accuracy, and reduce hallucinations
- Handle structured and unstructured data using PostgreSQL and object storage platforms
- Analyze data and build KPIs, dashboards, and actionable insights using SQL and Python
- Apply Git, CI/CD, security best practices, and enterprise-grade system design
- Translate complex technical solutions into measurable business value and explain AI concepts in a business-friendly manner
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience
- Strong experience in frontend development using ReactJS and Next.js
- Solid backend engineering skills in Python (FastAPI), with working knowledge of NodeJS or NestJS
- Hands-on experience with AI and LLM-based systems, including embeddings, intelligent analysis, and private or offline AI setups
- Experience with vector databases such as OpenSearch or Chroma for similarity search and RAG-based solutions
- Practical exposure to model evaluation, response accuracy tuning, and hallucination reduction techniques
- Strong understanding of data handling using PostgreSQL and object storage platforms such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake, or MinIO
- Ability to analyze data, build KPIs, and derive actionable insights using SQL and Python
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, security best practices, and enterprise-grade system design
- Experience with AI workflows such as RAG, agent-based systems, LLM-driven integrations, and scalable AI pipelines
- Exposure to private or offline AI setups, including local LLM deployments
- Background in Retail, Digital, or large-scale enterprise platforms
- Ability to explain complex AI and technical concepts in a simple, business-friendly manner
- Experience in Agile methodologies and consulting is a plus
