Job Description
Lead Finance Solution Architect required to design and deliver scalable finance solutions for Cencora. Collaborating with teams to align technology architectures with business objectives and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop end-to-end finance solution architectures that align with business processes, regulatory requirements, and enterprise technology standards.
- Understand finance and accounting terminology and workflows (e.g., procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, tax compliance) and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Design solutions leveraging modern finance technologies such as SAP, Vertex, Vistex, Esker, Ariba, Concur, and advanced data tools for analytics and automation.
- Partner with finance, IT, and business teams to ensure solutions meet operational needs and strategic objectives.
- Apply industry best practices for finance systems architecture, data integrity, and security while ensuring compliance with global standards.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and technology enhancements to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Provide architectural leadership and ensure stakeholder alignment across business and technical teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or related field
- Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CPA, SAP Architect) preferred
- Proven experience implementing and integrating ERP and finance systems in large-scale environments
- Minimum of 5 years as a Solution Architect across financial applications, data, and security domains
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud technologies, APIs, and modern development frameworks
- Strong communication, critical thinking, modelling, and risk analysis skills
- Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and consensus-building abilities
- Proven consultancy skills across business analysis, IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud, and software design.
