Job Description
Lead Machine Learning Engineer designing and deploying machine learning models for fintech solutions in Latin America, mentoring team members and ensuring production quality.
Responsibilities:
- Own ML systems & tooling in production
- Define and evolve R2’s ML platform architecture
- Architect, implement, and deploy ML/DL models into production environments
- Design and build automated monitoring systems to track model performance
- Develop frameworks to automate recurrent Data Science workflows
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Risk teams to align ML/DL solutions with business goals
- Mentor junior and senior data scientists and analysts
Requirements:
- At least five (5) years of experience with machine and deep learning engineering
- Strong programming abilities in Python/R and SQL
- Proficient in ML/DL frameworks in Python (e.g. Tensorflow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Experienced with MLOps tools (e.g. MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS microservices)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Understanding of model serving patterns and data engineering practices for ETL pipelines
- Stakeholder management experience and ability to communicate results in non-technical ways
