Job Description
Loan Representative helping Oregon Community Credit Union members with consumer loans, memberships, and deposit accounts. Serving members remotely through consultative lending and financial service conversations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to members seeking lending, membership, and deposit solutions
- Process and fund consumer loans, open deposit accounts, and perform account maintenance
- Review applications, conduct credit investigations, prepare loan documentation, and communicate loan decisions
- Develop member relationships through inbound and outbound communications
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and recommend products and services that meet member needs
- Utilize technology and remote delivery systems to efficiently serve members and complete transactions
- Meet established performance goals, service levels, and quality expectations
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of consumer lending, loan processing, banking, credit union, or related financial services experience
- Strong consumer lending knowledge and ability to explain financial products and services
- Excellent member service, sales, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to build trust and effectively uncover member needs through consultative conversations
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfort working in a high-volume call center environment with both inbound and outbound communications
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn lending systems and remote delivery tools
- Ability to work successfully from a dedicated home office with reliable high-speed internet and minimal distractions
- Credit union or banking experience preferred
- Experience processing consumer loans from application through funding preferred
- Experience reviewing credit reports and loan documentation preferred
- Proven success meeting sales, service, and production goals preferred
- Experience with Docusign and electronic loan processing systems preferred
- Experience working in a lending call center or remote lending environment preferred
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
