Job Description
Strategic sourcing manager leading supplier negotiations, contracts, and procurement initiatives for BCD Travel. Delivering commercial value across global business travel operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead regional and global sourcing initiatives for products and services
- Negotiate with suppliers and manage contracts, renewals, and supplier relationships
- Develop and manage RFIs, RFPs, and other sourcing-related materials
- Partner with stakeholders to gain visibility into suppliers, spending, agreements, and business requirements
- Identify and execute opportunities delivering measurable commercial value
- Negotiate terms in accordance with internal policies
- Establish negotiating strategies leveraging BCD Travel’s position and strategic partnerships
- Manage contract renewal terms and dates, ensuring business owners are involved before actionable deadlines
- Establish SLAs based on stakeholder requirements and industry best practices
- Maintain relationships with business owners, the Director, Strategic Sourcing, finance and accounting, legal, data privacy, and security departments
- Measure, track, and report ROI by engagement with detailed calculations
- Review sourcing requirements from cross-functional business leaders
- Lead cross-functional sourcing and supplier-management initiatives
Requirements:
- Prior Supply Chain Management experience
- Previous experience working on technology, telecommunications, HR and other types of sourcing engagements
- Strong business knowledge
- Effective spoken and written communication skills in English
- Ability to travel domestically & internationally
- Will require working Eastern time zone hours to collaborate with global partners
