Job Description
Data Analyst working on Business Intelligence and data engineering projects for a growing consulting company focused on data. Collaborating with teams to develop analytical solutions using Google Cloud Platform and Power BI.
Responsibilities:
- Join our Data team as a Mid-level Data Analyst
- Work on Business Intelligence and Data Engineering projects
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries
- Build tables and data pipelines using GCP and Power BI
- Collaborate with other departments to gather requirements and develop analytical solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields
- Proven experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Engineering applied to the analytical layer
- Advanced SQL skills for development, optimization, and troubleshooting of complex queries
- Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery
- Experience with Dataform or dbt for developing data transformations
- Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling (Star Schema) and Data Warehousing
- Experience building Fact and Dimension tables, views, and analytical layers
- Experience building ELT pipelines
- Experience developing executive and analytical dashboards using Power BI
- Familiarity with Git for code versioning
- Experience gathering requirements and interacting with business stakeholders
- Experience with agile methodologies, especially Scrum
